The Portsmouth Sailing Project

The Project is back for 2017, and aims to get even more local young children aged 9–13 yrs to experience the benefits of sailing.

Please note, this project is only open to children who live in Portsmouth and Gosport.

The taster sessions will be hosted at The Portsmouth Watersports Centre from Monday 14th August to Friday 18th August 2017. The project has a target of providing sailing taster sessions to 150 young people and offering 18 of them the chance to maintain their sailing on a regular basis once the project finishes.

As part of this project, we will also be offering 6 places on an RYA dinghy instructor course for those who volunteer at their home clubs to ensure that the skills get passed onto a greater number of young people.
